Sperm- and Egg-donor Agreements

We negotiate and draft sperm and egg donation agreements.  If you are considering using a known or anonymous donor sperm or egg, you should have a contract delineating rights and responsibilities.  As with surrogacy contracts, donor contracts are generally subject to a high degree of negotiation and there is no "stock" or "typical" donor contract.  Parties to a donor contract should absolutely each have independent legal counsel.  The contract should also state that the donor will not have parental rights or duties.  Those who intend for donors to have some involvement in resulting children should seek legal advice.
